Kim Minicozzi

Kim was raised in Snellville, Georgia and graduated from Brookwood High School. Before attending law school, she graduated from the University of Georgia with a double major in Political Science and Sociology, followed by a law degree from Mississippi College School of Law.


Kim began her legal career as an intern at the Gwinnett County District Attorney’s office where her primary assignment was prosecuting juvenile matters. One she graduated law school, she began working at the Gwinnett County Solicitor’s Office where she prosecuted misdemeanor and traffic offenses, specializing in DUI prosecutions. After two years, Kim then honed her trial skills while working in the Walton and Newton County District Attorney’s office. There she successfully tried and convicted individuals charged with serious violent felonies, including murder, armed robbery, rape, child molestations, vehicular homicide and drug trafficking.


After opening The Law Office of Kimberly M. Minicozzi, LLC in 2013, Kim focused her practice on Adoption, Divorce and Custody matters, Estate Planning, and Will and Trust preparation. Kim helps families navigate all types of domestic issues ranging from divorce and custody to guardianships and conservatorships. We also pride ourselves on walking clients through the process of preparing their wills, trust and power of attorneys and when necessary aiding them in the probate process. 


 Kim resides in Monroe, Georgia with her husband, Joe and their daughter. When not at the office, Kim and her family enjoy traveling, golfing, and attending Bethlehem Church.
